Terms and Conditions
1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through Gilded Thorn.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of your order will apply to that purchase.

3. Products and Availability
We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, slight differences in color, print placement, or appearance may occur due to screen settings, production processes, or supplier variations.
All products are offered subject to availability. If a product is unavailable after you place an order, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on our website at any time, including after an order has been placed.
4. Prices and Charges
All prices shown on our website are listed in the applicable currency displayed at checkout.
Shipping costs, if applicable, are shown separately during checkout.
Depending on the destination country, your order may be subject to import duties, customs charges, or local taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.
We are not liable for any additional customs fees, import duties, or local taxes charged by your country’s authorities or shipping carrier.
5. Orders and Agreement
An agreement is formed once your order has been placed and accepted by us.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation does not guarantee acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, product unavailability, or payment issues.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the paid amount will be refunded.
6. Payment
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and payment information. If incorrect payment information is provided, this may delay or prevent processing of your order.
In the event of suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the order.
7. Processing and Delivery
Our estimated delivery time is made up of processing time + shipping time.
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday). Once shipped, average delivery usually takes 4–7 business days, depending on the destination and carrier.
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to high order volumes, customs processing, courier disruptions, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
If an order cannot be fulfilled or is significantly delayed, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Consumers have the right to cancel their order within 30 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.
After cancellation, you have an additional 30 days to return the product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at support@gildedthorn.studio.
Returned items must, where reasonably possible, be sent back:

with all supplied accessories;

in original condition;

and in the original packaging.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will refund the order amount, including the original standard shipping costs, within 30 days, provided the return has been received in good condition or sufficient proof of return has been supplied.
9. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may be excluded where permitted by law, including for products:

made to the consumer’s specifications;

clearly personalized or custom-made;

that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons if opened;

that are by nature unsuitable for return;

or otherwise excluded under applicable law.
If a product falls under such an exception, this will be clearly stated on the website or at the time of purchase.
10. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at support@gildedthorn.studio.
Please include:

a description of the issue;

and clear photos where possible.
If the complaint is valid, we will offer an appropriate solution, such as a replacement, refund, or other remedy where applicable.
11. Warranty and Product Conformity
We guarantee that our products conform to the agreement, the product description, and the reasonable standards of usability and quality.
This guarantee does not apply to damage caused by:

improper handling;

unauthorized alterations or repairs;

normal wear and tear;

or failure to follow care instructions.
Any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
12. Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.
13. Complaints
If you have a complaint about our products or services, please contact us at support@gildedthorn.studio.
We aim to respond within 30 days of receiving your complaint. If a complaint requires more time, we will let you know within that period.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, branding, logos, product designs, images, and graphics, is the property of Gilded Thorn or used with permission.
This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
15. Privacy and Data Processing
Any personal data provided through the website will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Where required by law, payment service providers may process and register payment information, including within European reporting systems such as CESOP.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by Dutch law, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides another forum.
